Some farms, like the Tuntland family’s Waterman Winery in DeKalb County, Illinois (pictured), have expanded into the production of alcohol and wine using grains and grapes grown on the farm. The Waterman Winery tends a 12 acre vineyard that has 40 varieties of red and white grapes, and was planted into a former livestock pasture. This farm’s continued expansion has been driven by each new generation, following their interests, as a way to diversify their traditional corn and soybean operation.

Waterman Winery & Vineyards is pleased to welcome you to our newly designed website.

As a family-owned winery, we are focused on handcrafting unique wines via environmentally friendly methods. We are proud to be Illinois farmers and enjoy sharing our journey with fellow wine lovers. We want our website to reflect our values and tell our story while having a new, updated look.

Our team closely collaborated with Pesola Media Group of Yorkville, IL to reimagine our website. As a Northern Illinois vintner, we want to provide our customers with valuable information regarding our agricultural approach to sustainable wines.

This website design reflects the passion we have for our craft. We are always happy to share our winemaking process with winery and vineyards visitors, so we wanted a digital experience that is informative and easy to navigate for website visitors.

We may have a new look, but we have not lost sight of our traditional principles. Our goal is still the same. We provide an authentic, regional wine tasting experience in an agricultural setting. To stay true to our mission, we have added pages focused on our eco-friendly, agricultural actions and winery and vineyards offerings.

It is all about staying true to our philosophy of responsibly growing and harvesting grapes and handcrafting delicious unique regional wines. Our passion is at the the core of everything we do and we are thrilled about our new look.

Our new website is mobile friendly which allows wine lovers to discover our story while on many different platforms. Take a moment to explore our new website design and visit frequently for more information about our unique wines and events.

If you have any questions or feedback about our new website, wine tastings, tours, offerings, or events, please use our Contact page.
